When the golden glow of sunset merges into evening, when the light of day is absorbed into the dark silkiness of night and Venus appears in the indigo sky, when the garden disappears into shadowy shapes, the night flowers begin to emit their sweet fragrance and the bird chatter is stilled—this is the time of Hesperus and the inspiration for this collection of home accessories.

In this collection, we focused on order and chaos and used natural branches to demonstrate the beauty of chaotic design. Many of our products mimicked this idea in their structure, surface and handmade qualities.
This was a project where our art director took a bold typography approach and we loved where it took the project. Our styling and photography lighting was designed to reflect the mood of Hesperus. The catalogue was launched in the Autumn, when living moves indoors and we instinctively seek warmth and deep colour palettes.
Our kitchen collection expanded to include our own dinnerware. In this collection we had more of our own designed products than ever before.
The photo location was in a modern, newly renovated home in West Vancouver, designed by Peter Cardew for fashion designer, Jean Claude Le Blanc.
